Dear interrnational delegates, friends,

I would like to propose a pan-European co-operation between Pirate
political youth organisations. As you may or may not know, the Swedish
pirate political youth organisation Ung Pirat is currently one of the
largest political youth movements in Sweden. It is tied to the Swedish
Pirate Party.

With the forming of Young Pirates European Confederation (YPEC) we
could arrange cultural exchange programs between national movements
and apply for EU money via the Youth in Action program.

Forming a youth organisation need not be a grand endeavour - it's
enough if there is an organisation, it doesn't have to have any
particular amount of members or engage in any extensive activity apart
from that which is arranged in the local Pirate Party. The aim of YPEC
will primarily be to arrange cultural exchange, and not to have a
joint political program.

It would be great if all of you could form youth organisations before
November next year (autumn deadline for applying for EU funding). If
you have any questions, please ask.
