here is another one:

Only pirate party members will sign it and only pirate party issues are
worked out, so changing the name from Pirate Manifesto to Pirate Party
Manifesto would be more honest about the origin and audience of this
statement.

Why?
Modern day pirates like i.e. The Pirate Bay, The Sea Shepherds, The
Puntaland Tribes. Piracy International, The Pirate Nation and the maybe
greatest group of anonymous pirates have their own objectives and
strategies that are kindly different from the ones followed by the
Pirate Party Movement.
As you were perhaps not happy with a Pirate Manifesto written only by
somalian pirates, most pirates not organized in parties would not very
happy with a statement you, the Pirate Partys, call a Pirate Manifesto.

Even it may be a great idea to unite these tribes with an universal
pirate codex or a pirate manifesto signed by the contemporary captains
of these particular movements, but now its (still) not the time and you
are not the (only) people to do this.

Anyway, action is life - the rest are just details, so, u name it.
But choose your destiny... excellent.

cheers!
Mirco
