At least in germany people want answers to all the current problems from
a party. Since you cannot eat freedom. Freedom does not stop airports
from beeing expanded. Freedom does not get you a job. Freedom does not
make electricity affordable.

We were asked, what we say to minimum wages, integration of foreigners,
extension of the airports, nuclear power. What do you want to answer to
people, asking you these questions? Vote us, we let others decide, what
to do?

Your speech is perfect for a political movement, but not for a party. In
germany we have such "Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung". Most
pirates are also "members" there. "members" since there is no real
organisation - just people from all political and social directions.
Sound familiar?

A long time (well... I am a pirate since just a year) I had been one of
the "core issues only" pirates. But fighting the reality becomes boring
after a while. And always telling the people, that you as a party that
wants to govern a country has nothing to give but freedom and privacy
sucks a bit. :)
