Jens controls not only the party as vice chairman but also the
infrastructure as admin of mailinglists, forums and the wiki, (except
those from local party departments who decided wisely not to rely on his
centralized control grid) - and he makes use of his power.

So, it would be as better as telling a chinese dissident to publish his
articles in chinese national newspapers instead of the international
free press. ;)

btw: all I wanted to say is: No, bad idea, look in this mirror, Jens.

But to be honest, as one of the ex-members of the german pp I've spent a
lot of time, work and money (not as much as you,Rick!) into this
project, and the other reason to expose the german problems to the
international community is.. I hate to loose - especially against
bureaucrats - and I have an idea how to make the best of it.

background:

I've tried to get Jens by his balls on July 14th 2008 when I asked him
and the national board to deal with some simple questions about the
upcoming elections next year.

1. Does the national board (NB) has the aim and goal to participate
successfully on the upcoming national and european elections?
2. What's the NBs definition of successfully in this relation?
3. Who is the NB going to reach those goals?
4. Which resources, methods and strategies (RMS) are necessary toreach them?
5. Which of those RMS are actual available?
6. Which of those RMS has still to be achieved respectively must be
worked on?
7. When shall we begin to achieve respectively what is the actual status?
8. Who is responsible for which RMS?
9. How can the pirates support those who are responsible best?
10. Why is it necessary to make this formal application to get answers
on these essential questions?

The only legitimate (by statute) and legal (by law) way to force (!)
the NB to deal with (not answer) this questions was an formal
application supported by 10% (approx.80) of the party members.

Unfortunately only 100+ people (not members) have signed the main
mailinglist, and as I did not get any support by the NB when founding
the saxonian pirate party twice (the first founding in 2006 was
cancelled by Seipenbusch for formal reasons), you may imagine that the
NB did not support this application i.e. by informing all members about it.

Nevertheless 30+ members, the active ones actually, signed and supported
this application.

But, guess what.
Nothing, no answers from the NB, no discussion either, no nothing
happened until today.

Thinking "no answer is an answer too" I came to the conclusion, that
these guys - now top candidates for the EU election, would enjoy the
privileges as a MEP very much on one side, but dont really believe in it
and of course do not want to do anything for it on the other. They even
dont want others to do something for it!

If these human brake pads are acting now driven by wretched stupidity
or ... by concept is a secondary question, but even if the strange
decisions made last months were regrettable - to run an election
campaign entirely unprepared is definitively not.

(end of part I.)
