I have a suggestion. If there is going to be a PPI conference, let's put
up a wiki page (or several) for the planning - that way the details and
ideas are not lost to the mailing list archive. And also, let's agree that
the conference will create minutes of the meeting and the decisions and
put them to the wiki.
It's about time we start working in ways that allows new comers to find
ideas and things previously discussed and decided. After all, you can't
fault people for discussing the same things again and again, if we never
gather up the old ideas into a format that a new comer can access. (And
no, requiring someone to go through an entire email archive and somehow
'know' what was discussed in a face to face meeting some years ago is not
an acceptable requirement, if we actually mean to get something done).
