We did not reach point 7 addressing a global petition at the meeting on
Sunday, but the suggestion would be to use a site such as Avaaz.org for a
petition or setup something on our own (scale problems, SPOF issues, DDOS
etc. to worry about!).
The problem may be that when leaving in petitions to countries MP's, MEP in
EU etc. some countries requires analog signatures while others may accept
digital signatures.
Of course reaching let's say 1 million signatures on the globe against ACTA
would cause a awareness that would probably cause problems at the
negotiation table.. ;)
