Assume you are aware that "youth" hostels don't have age limits anymore 
nowadays, and they do have single rooms. Besides, the one I have chosen is 
very close to the conference venue. And I expect it to be pretty empty - in 
Helsinki in winter ...
But of course feel free to look for a budget hotel ...
