[pp.int.general] One good, one bad

The original proposed constitution was very very bad. It was slanted
to favor the power of business. For instance, it included the text of
all the Free Exploitation Treaties as part of the text of the
constitution, and there was (effectively) no way to change it, or
them.

I don't know if the Lisbon treaty does the same thing here. But given
that it was intended as the same constitution, dressed up differently,
it is a sure bet that it too is designed to favor the power of business.

A democratic union of Europe, favoring people's freedom and well-being
over business, would be an admirable thing. Today' EU is an obstacle
to creating one.
