It's a crock of shit for all sorts of reasons, but the biggest one is
it's not even internally consistent: the executive summary says 1
million job losses, but the next page says 72,928; this is apparently
meant to be a sample of job losses from which the overall figure of 1
million is calculated.

The following page, page 3, says "would result in 978,000 US job
losses through 2020, representing roughly 3 percent of American green
jobs." This means there will be 32.6 million "Green jobs" in the USA,
a ridiculously inflated figure.

By way of contrast the *total* number of Americans working in
manufacturing (all industries) is 33.4 million. It's manufacturing
jobs that might be exported without green patents, andi n any case, US
firm will relocate manufacturing to where it's cheaper anyway, like
they have been doing for the last 40 years.
