[pp.int.general] The Pirate Bay and the Pirate Party

According to Alexa[1], The Pirate Bay is the 110th most popular
website worldwide, and every day 1 in 140 web users view it. Most of
these people agree with Pirate Party politics. And Pirate Parties can
help TPB by preventing governments from closing it down or blocking
it.

So I suggest that the Pirate Party Movement approach TPB and suggest
to them that they put on the front page of their website a notice
worded roughly thus:

Governments and the entertainment industry worldwide want to shut down
The Pirate Bay. Pirate Parties want to keep it open. If you want to
help The Pirate Bay continue to exist, consider joining your local
Pirate Party. {and it would give the URL of the users local PP, based
on their presumed location from their IP address}
