That is certainly not what I meant to say -- quite the contrary.  I
think protecting the environment from global warming must be a
priority for everyone.  It won't do us much good to be free to share
copies of files, if civilization collapses because a hundred million
people are fleeing from land that has dried up or been flooded by the
ocean.

Many countries has cities that could be flooded in this century.
Australia has had a long drought and it promises to get worse.  If the
ocean gets too acidic, molluscs will be more or less wiped out, and
coral reefs are already dying, which means many kinds of fish will
disappear too.
