There's been some changes at the US party over the last few days, and I
wanted to keep you updated. As you may have seen from our wikipedia
page, or read in the PPI IRC channel yesterday, we have a change of
leadership.

I'd hoped that Bradley Hall would have been writing this email right
now, but he's still not approved for the list at present, and so I'm
doing this quick note to keep you all up to date.

In short, on our regular Tuesday meeting, a Vote of No Confidence was
called for and passed unanimously on Ryan Martin, who was the
Administrator. As this was the third such vote brought, he was removed
from office effective immediately, and a temporary officer, Bradley, was
appointed in his place for a 30 day period, ending Jan 28th. We will be
holding an election on Jan 26th to fill the position for the rest of the
term, which expires in July.

The reasons for Mr Martin's removal are numerous, and documented in the
meetings minutes, available on our wiki. However, he has yet to formally
acknowledge reciept of the notice, despite it being sent via email (also
BCC'd to several international members for verification), and SMS to his
contact numbers, and a voicemail being left. contact attempts to Bethany
Jolly, the Party records officer (and Ryan's Girlfriend) have likewise
not been returned.

Until we get the passwords and logins from Ryan, the US Party won't be
doing much of anything at present. We can only hope he hands them over
soon, so we can move on with all the work we have ahead of us.
