    The problem is that somehow it's ONLY these war crimes that constantly 
    crop up in such discussions. Minor occasions like missiles being fired 
    from the peaceful Palestinians' settlements and buses being blown up 
    just keep getting lost when the information is broadcast.

It's just the reverse.  The mainstream media and most states focus on
the Palestinian war crimes with their few occasional victims,
accepting them as an excuse for Israeli war crimes with their many
victims (more than 10 times as many), and for acts of tyranny that
affect all Palestinians.

Look for instance at Israel's reaction to the Goldstone report which
described Israeli and Palestinian war crimes.  And the similar US
reaction.

We criticize useless "security" policies that are useless and
annoying.  How about "security" policies that are an excuse to steal
people's land and water?
