Nope, I was there when invited, by some journalists; Pandasecurity. my
nick then was the same as on the start of my email, K`Tetch.

I didn't have one, because I didn't take part in it. It's not like it
was 'payback' for anything anyway. DDoS' are the net equivilent of
trying to get at your neighbour by playing your music too loud. 'ooh,
nasty'. And as soon as the music stops,

No, just an observation, you didn't say who you were, or what Pirate
Party you represent.

It's only an insult if it's not true. If you're a USPP member, the
method for having me removed is in the party constitution. I should
point out though that this letter was approved by the board of the
party. It wasn't just me. We all feel the same about these stupid kids,
and their idiotic actions. I also have had a policy that I don't say
anything I don't mean. I always stand 100% behind everything I say, else
I wouldn't say it. It's called 'integrity'.

> Also, I'm not talking about DDoS attacks, if you don't know, people on anonops decided to stop DDoS attacks before your letter, that seems to be written by MPAA. That letter only shows payback as criminals (when they aren't) and, because that letter, now people are thinking on continue attacking... you have fucked up lot of hard work, and a great project.
>

Erm, they are. A DDoS is classified under the US legal system as a
Federal Felony attack on computer systems (National Information
Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996). You might remember the FBI have
been investigated O:P for the last few weeks.

http://www.slyck.com/story2121_FBI_Launches_Probe_Into_Operation_Payback_Attacks

And hard work, and a great project? It's not hard to load up a DDOS
script, and enter an IP address. And the only people thinking the
project is great, are those that want to use it to justify more,
stronger laws and restrictions. It has helped NO-ONE, it has negatively
affected EVERYONE in the long term.

You really have no clue of the realities of what's going on. the MPAA
(and the RIAA lawyers running the US DoJ) are almost certainly hoping
you'll carry on. You're a nice public example of why we need 'more laws'
and 'ways to take down sites quick' to 'deal with these threats'. Yet
they, like EVERYONE ELSE know that a DDoS is a nuisance, it's not a
threat, it's just laughable. Remember, these are the same people that
took an underwear bomb that wouldn't have blown up, and used it to
justify hellishly invasive bodyscanners and borderline sexual assault.

If you think the Pirate Party is a joke, then go piss off and join the
'standing at the back, dressed stupidly and looking stupid party'
(http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2212041448) - because that's more
your thing. In the US, we, as a party, are serious about trying to get
things changed, in a system that's almost impossible to get change to
happen, and possibly one of the least democratic in the western world.
The only party around with a harder time, that I'm aware of, is Tunisia.
What you've not seen from us in recent times, is dealing with all the
administrative stuff that's required.

I always do, as my conscience is clear.
