If any Pirate Party makes a statement condemning the activity of
taking down web sites, it should write the statement so that the
condemnation also includes the takedown of LimeWire, PirateBay and
Napster.  Then say that attack was a bigger wrong, because the damage
to those sites was (or threatens to be) permanent.  A smaller wrong is
still wrong, but we should not let a smaller wrong protect the
perpetrators of the bigger wrong through distraction.

It would be nice to conclude by calling on both sides to stop
taking down the web sites they dislike.
