Hello,
We, at PPBe, have recently been informed of two proposed laws that
could seriously damage freedom of speech, privacy and free access to
culture in Belgium.
The first one is titled "Draft bill favouring the protection of
cultural creation on the Internet" ; it's an HADOPI-like.
For those who can read French or Dutch, here's the text :

The second one is titled "Draft bill to amend Article 87 of the Law
of 30 June 1994 on copyright and related rights as regards the
liability of intermediaries for copyright and related rights
infringement".
Text here :

The pads are open for participation to any interested person.
These laws are dangerous and the people who wrote it do not
understand a bunch of what they talk about. They rely on questionable
reports from IFPI, SABAM (Society of the belgian Autors and
Songwriters),...
One of the drafts mentions CISAC so I had a look at their website ;
it's very interesting that they enjoy the increase of income for their
affiliates.
There's apparently a problem.
Anyone interested in participating can look at our homepage
