we got drugs legalisation in our party program in the netherlands.
politicians should understand that drugs only becomes a problem if:
someone uses to much, but if its legalised the government could help
those people on-time, instead of putting them in jail. or if neighboring
countries havent legalised softdrugs (yet), which is the problem in the
border region in the Netherlands, the people themselves are the cause of
the problem since i think the only problem with those tourists is their
drivingstyle as in speeding and driving whilst just having used drugs.
and generally being threathening to others (doesnt even have to be
litterally, but just how others feel about them.)
I think the big problem is the illegal drugstrade, and not so much that
it is illegal, but those people have a lack of respect for other human
beings. now we do have coffeeshops (drugsstores) i dont hear many
complaints about those, it are mostly the people from outside our
country that are causing problems, just a little very specific group,
about 1% of the people comming in those shops.
The problems we now face with people using drugs would be for 90% gone
if it became legalised, but then again, it has to be legalised in more
countries than just ours. part of the legalisation should be that the
government would offer help to those who are addicted. In my opinion
alcohol is a drug aswell, it messes with peoples heads, but nobody seems
to care about that since everybody drinks, whilst the effects, in my
opinion, might be even more awefull than a simple smoke.
I dont drink much (a few glasses a month), I dont use drugs, but i think
that people should have the liberty of making their own choices, aslong
as they do not harm or threaten others.
It was the same with gay marriage, just because youre against it doesnt
mean it has to be forbidden, you just should keep your fucking mouth
shut and let them be, you dont have to be friends with them.
In my opinion anyone who is making the world unsafe for others, e.g.
drinking and driving, using drugs and driving, killing people because
they couldnt give you drugs, should be punnished with jailsentence, i
mean using alcohol and/or drugs is fine, but being a threat to others
isnt. this also goes for anything else, like putting a bullet through
someones head is not being polite.
for me harddrugs still should be banned and softdrugs legalised,
especially the growing and selling of them.
Young people using drugs should be helped, I sometimes hear stories of
all young people from a village using drugs, then there's obviously
something wrong, right?
I'd like to hear from others if they have other opinions.
