    While it is true that US is taking a lot of liberty of sacrificing some human
    rights in the name of "security", I never felt  been treated like a criminal 
    on my numerous visits to US.

US border agents take non-citizens' fingerprints, which is in itself
treating them as criminals.  They also often ask lots of intrusive
questions, but not equally for everyone.
