but even if one wants to make a position on this topic, is there any
point for the pirate parties to express anything other than passive support?
I think there is, for these reasons:
* Civilization is heading for disaster.
We must try to prevent it.
* More support for saving the clinate means stronger policies will
be adopted.
* It is necessary to pressure the US and China, and that takes a
strong political base.
* It is necessary to educate the public, and you do that by speaking
actively about the issue.
* You want to compete with the Green Party for votes, so why leave
this issue to the Green Party in the public debate?
