    This fight for the 'pirate brand' and trying to exclude each other from
    being part of the greater pirate movement is quite poisonous.
I don't know how the election system works in your country.
In most countries of Europe, a party needs a certain number
of votes to get any representatives in parliament at all.
If there is one Pirate Party and 10% of the voters vote Pirate,
that party will get some members in parliament.
If there are five different Pirate Parties, and each gets 2% of the vote,
probably none of the will get any members in parliament.
