That is right : you would not be _trying_.

You mix up different things.

Do you explain to poets that every word they use is in the dictionary,
and that therefore anybody shall distribute any poesy, including by
selling it, without the permission and without giving anything in return
to the author ?

Art is about using things that already exist, but making something new
and original from it. A text is original when, even if there are people
who share the ideas, nobody had written it like that before.

Art or speech shall be shared freely between citizens, but not
distributed on any platform, and in particular those who make business
from advertisement and spying of their customers.

We ask artists to agree that citizens freely share their work with each
other. We do not want to pressure them to accept that Youtube or any
other intermediary impose to them their conditions.
