Looks to me like the present board has simply failed and is sitting out 
it's time. I don't see them undertaking anything at any rate.

This is why we need far more flexible structures than a yearly assembly 
electing a board in a poorly informed fashion. Cause this is what you 
get: people who can get put up a good speech roughly one day in the year 
and let it go to shit the rest of the time. And by trusting this 
inadequately selected board with the potential of PPI is rather much 
like saying: let's open a restaurant: who here claims he can cook the 
loudest? Ok, you guys can fuck up the next year! Congrats! kthxbye. Not 
even going to begin about the backtalking people do to claims the top of 
the dung heap here (you bunch of full on retards, maybe we should make 
sure there is something to fight about before we descent to that level).

We need to define activities for the PPI, and have the people who 
perform those activities on a board in so far we need to control someone 
responsible. Work from the bottom up, from the concrete necessities. 
There is not even an organisation which needs a board at this point. 
Lets start with that organisation. Better late then never. From 
guidelines, best practices, technical tools & their use, global and 
continental issues of which insight can be shared, and alerts be passed 
on, there is so much PPI could be harnessing and share around for the 
good of it's constituents. When someone drops in the PPI chat on IRC 
looking for help, we are simply relaying them to active people in the 
various national parties, cause well, that's the only place where 
they'll get any help. Though I have to grant PPI that they set up an IRC 
channel. If we're going to trust a bunch of suits again I can tell you 
that this year too we'll be fucked.

We need not select a bunch of suits once per year, we need to relay 
responsibilities to whomever is actually doing things, and whether that 
person changes every other week or is the same guy for years should be 
of little consequence. We need to harness the people actually doing 
things, and keep them in a position where they can actually do things. 
It does not get more basic than that, and the fix for the majority of 
the problems in PPI is not harder than that. So what do you guys say? 
Time for a change?
