I like the idea a lot and I also floated the idea of Pirate learning group
once that failed because participation needs time that is really hard to

2 Points, in order to not reinvent the wheel

1. There are already platforms that cater to this, Coursera, Udacity etc.
which are very well done
- What would it take to set up a class on one of these?
2. Why not engage collectively into what is offered already. Maybe that
makes for a good start : https://www.coursera.org/course/changetheworld
Tapping into education proactively is just a new vector that online classes
offer. I suppose campaigning can be very efficient if approached thoroughly
in virtual classrooms.
