[pp.int.general] stop TTIP protests - worldwide - 15.05.2014

Dear friends,
this weekend I have been at an international seminar on TTIP, here in Rome.
I had therefore the opportunity to meet people from ATTAC Italia and from
other international organizations.

Unfortunately it seems we can't have much support for May, 15th.
ATTAC Italia is focused on a not TTIP specific demonstration on May, 17th,
while at an international level the networks are evaluating a date in
autumn for Europe and in december at a global level (US NGOs unable to
organize something before that date: they'll have elections in November),
May is already too short-term.

This means that here in Italy we will probably focus on some information
spreading event, rather than aiming at a massive demonstration.
Our presence during the May 17th demo will be evaluated as well, but again
this is not TTIP specific.

Anyway last week I had access to the italian STOP-TTIP mailing list and I
am waiting to see if I can join the international network's mailing list as
well, I suggest we all try to intensify contacts with the existing networks
at least at a local level.

I will keep you informed whenever I find something interesting to share.
