Great idea!
Stopping donations if the results do not become open source medicines.
We need a sort of creative commons for medical research with a ShareAlike clause for this.

The author said that all the money will go to pharmaceutical laboratories and then the product of that will have patents.
Perhaps if donations forced laboratories to produce without medical patents?
