"CLDP will assist the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine 
(SIPSU) to address the issues of digital piracy, and relative lack of 
standards and transparency in collective copyright management.  These 
issues were delineated in the 2013 Special 301 Report of the US Trade 
Representative, that assigned Ukraine Priority Foreign Country status.  
CLDP will hold drafting workshops with SIPSU and relevant stakeholders, 
to develop new and revised legislation that furthers the development of 
a system of fair and transparent collective copyright management, and 
improves the enforcement against  illegal distribution of digital 
content through Ukrainian web sites.  The resultant draft legislation, 
once passed by the legislature, would build a framework for the improved 
capacity to protect and enforce IP rights in Ukraine."
