It's not really a political campaign we're talking about here. It's an european parliament report, which needs to be adopted by a majority of the parliament to be meaningful at all.

Personally I think it's a good thing to create public pressure (or campaigns) to change the report towards the ideals of the pirate movement. Not because I think it's realistic, that this actually happens (for now), but because others will push heavily in the other direction. They need as much counterweight as possible to preserve as much as possible of what's in the report at the moment.

However, I do not think this is Julias job. Her job is to balance it all out and get the whole thing over the finishing line. And for that she needs a majority in the parliament.

So please put pressure on the european parliament and commission to make the report and the actual legislation as good as possible, but don't blame Julia for doing her job.
