So my Previous post about this was just a link to it but I'm gonna share my
thoughts about that link now:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/iceland-a-land-of-vikings-braces-for-a-pirate-party-takeover/2016/10/23/f1bfe992-9540-11e6-9cae-2a3574e296a6_story.html

OK so they say that they think Iceland right, under the pirates has overly
vaguely defined proposals and it will cause problems in their government
and economy if they are elected, correct?

That's the principle objection that this person has especially with a move
towards direct democracy among people who are not necessarily well educated
about how to write laws and for instance how laws can have the spirit of
those laws violated and how people can circumvent and the tactical
maneuvering and everything.

My frustration with this core line of logic about where Icelands economy is
heading if they win is that it's their economy.

I mean... How do I put this... It incentivizes the population to learn.

What I'm getting at is ordinary citizens will get better at drafting law if
they go with their disposition towards direct democracy.

They will HAVE to, their economic livelihood will depend on it.
