I definitely wouldn't like that. I think the logo and favicon are
enough. We are a movement assembled from really different people and
nations. Why shouldn't we show that? In Germany we tried to establish
a Common identity. (only in one country!) The result was, we have
three common things of all the regional groups, the logo, the favicon
and the colour orange. Some people didn't like this as well but every
different site looks great so we just kept it that way.
