Carlos,

There is no real technical possibility for members to delegate their
votes, and no real need for them to do so either, since they can just
cast whatever vote they want on the Internet. The issue has simply
never come up. Technically, we use slightly modified standard forum
software to conduct our polls. The software has been modified so that
the forum software can distinguish between people who are party
members, and those who are only registered to our forums. If somebody
wanted to "delegate" the vote, they would have to give away their
forum passwords to those people. Technically possible, I guess, but
pretty impractical.

Anyway, my purpose with my initial post was simply to clear up a
simple factual inaccuracy in Mårten Fjällström's post, and I am not
prepared to discuss the merits or problems of the system, nor am I
prepared to discuss the formalia in PP-Sweden. I only have a limited
understanding of how the actual organizational formalia in PP works.
I'm an assistant network and server administrator, not a party
official. :-)
