[pp.int.general] an idea comes to me

What we need are open hardware standards for that open free software.  There
are already platforms out there now finally.  If we had the money to buy
enough of any number of solutions, we could go door to door and pretty
quickly build neighborhood (or even city) intranets.
All a matter of time and resources, now.   I'm pretty sure we have more or
less everything we need.
