[pp.int.general] How PPI should look like - our humble opinion

I hope some of the issues raised in this have been sorted out in the
final version of the statutes as approved earlier this evening or are
left to the secondary rules/guidelines such as the procedures for the
general assembly/conference. As I hope was made clear during the
discussions (and I apologies if it wasn't) the statutes agreed on today
are more the rough technicalities of how PPI operates, not the grand
ideals of the Pirate Movement, nor the exact details of the day-to-day
running of it. I did try to make sure that all concerns raised were
discussed and, if possible addressed.

I would expect that the first PPI Board voted tomorrow is able to work
with you (and all other Pirates and Parties) in ensuring PPI operates in
a way as close as possible to what we would like. Obviously, the best
way to make sure this happens would be to stand in the election; do this
by emailing me or the Coreteam with your name and the position(s) for
which you would like to stand by 8.30 CEST (6.30 GMT). If you are not
able to attend the conference (either in person or remotely) you might
also want to include some short comments as to why people should vote
for you.

The positions available are; Co-chairman, Chief Administrative Officer,
Treasurer and Board member.
