All Roma pose problems according to the regimes in Italy and France,
since they're going for an ethnicity based approach to crime rather than
economic or social approach. The Balkans Roma are easier to deport based
on their citizenships though - you're not generally allowed to immigrate
to the EU from the Balkans. If you're from Romania or Bulgaria,
however, you /should/ be included in the "freedom of movement for
persons" clauses in the framework treaties. I guess that's what the
Commission has been saying too.

Eduardo is saying that Argentinians and Latin Americans get deported
from Spain and cites many sources for this. Spain's not like an
international immigrant do-gooder. On the contrary, the Spanish border
police and collaboration with the FRONTEX authorities are receiving
heavy criticism from human rights organisations for being cruel to
non-European immigrants from Africa, Latin America, etc.

On the other hand, Latin American immigration in Spain is not without
problems either. Domestically abused women in Spain are predominantly of
Latin American descent (I've heard) and in times of economic crisis they
tend to be the first ones that end up without jobs (generally speaking -
it's not a rule without a shitload of exceptions).
