    The charter has been officially introduced with the Lisbon treaty but has
    nothing to do with the Euro.

True, but so what?  It is still an opportunity for Pirate Parties.

				 Also "renogociating the Lisbon treaty" is
    misleading, as the Lisbon treaty is in fact changing/completing the
    previous treaties (like Maastricht an Rome). They won't renogeociate, they
    will "just" amend what they need.

That's not a real difference, just two descriptions of the same course
of events.  The opportunity is the same.

The opportunity may be gone now, because Cameron blocked doing this at
the EU level, so it will be done in a separate treaty for just part of
the EU.
