Then we are back to square one: "There is NO completely free (in the
FSF sense) AND USABLE software solution."

I capitalized AND USABLE because it is the most important practical
consideration, and this is a practical case: you need to see, hear and
text other participants, without needing a week to set the system up,
and without having to reboot every five minutes.

By the way, there is a version of the OpenQwaq client that runs on
Linux, but it is still very much work in progress. I hope there will
be a stable Linux client by the end of 2012.
