    You can watch all my streams using VLC - there is no need to watch it 
    with the website flash player.

It sounds like your streaming is a big step up from what was proposed
before.  It's not perfect (it should be Ogg), but it won't exclude
principled free software supporters, and that's the baseline.

What about other aspects of the system?  Others have presented the
goal of making it possible for everyone to participate.  The other
aspects should also allow the user to use free software.
