Hello Pat,
I am sorry if I left the impression, that I somehow would interfere with
decisions which aren't my responsibility This was not my goal, and I
appologize for this now and here formally.
However, I have stated, that I _suggest_ possible solutions to the
responsible persons. I quote myself here:
> This will be/was suggested to the responsible PPI Board members, and
> the remote delegates, and we will see if this gets accepted.
Again, I am sorry if I left a wrong impression. Of course all scenarios
I draw only will be suggestions. I am not the one to decide. I simply
wanted to state technical possibilites.
Noone is questioning your position.
I am extremly sorry, that I haven't stated more clear that I only
_suggest_ possible solutions.
Even in my last mail I stated:
> I would like to add a detail to my concept described earlier:
>
> The moderator should be equipped with an cell phone for emergency
> calls - eg breakdown of the software/connection/whatever. Every remote
> deligate will be handed the international phone number of that phone,
> enabling to call during the conference if any technical difficulty
> occours which keeps the deligate from participating the way he is
> supposed to do so.
The term I used is "should" and "detail to my concept" - I did not say
it will be done so.
A concept is a possible plan. Not a ready solution.
Again I apologize. I will not present any suggestions in public and
leave it of course to you to decide what details you want to discuss in
public.
Best regards
Wolfgang
