Hello,

Thanks for the news and translations Fabio, but next time you should
really consider providing the translation in a separated form. Having
to go through unintilligible text for each paragraph looking for the
point where the paragraph is translated into english is not a great
experience. At first I was confused because I thought you were
expecting people in this mailinglist to understand protuguese.

Here is the news in english only:

The Portuguese Pirate Party has claims against ACAPOR.

"The Portuguese Pirate Party has just issued a statement in which it
classifies as illegal the action taken this morning by ACAPOR , adding
also that it has already taken steps to legally react against what
they consider to be a crime.

Among the measures are contributions to the National Commission for
Data Protection and a criminal complaint at the Attorney General's
Office.

What members of the Association of Audiovisual Trade said to be the
largest collection of complaints in the history of the Portuguese
Justice, "it is about the largest collection of self-incriminating
evidence" presented earlier, according to the PPP.

According to the Portuguese movement that advocates the free sharing
of files online , the act constitutes "an admission to practice, with
delivery of evidence of at least two crimes," reads the statement.

Each of these crimes is punishable by imprisonment up to one year or
fine of up to 120 days, since the ACAPOR is not authorized by the NCDP
to collect the data presented.

So members of the Pirate Party held "several individual contributions
to the National Commission for Data Protection and a" complaint for
breach of obligations relating to data protection. "Was also presented
a criminal complaint for improper access the Attorney General's
Republic.

He added that PPP has not taken a public position immediately after
the announcement of ACAPOR, to December 20 because "chose to make a
careful legal analysis of the situation", to "take all measures at its
disposal" to enforce a principle in his manifesto: the defense of
personal privacy of Portuguese citizens."
