... you still presume the world is made of people who actually do in
office what they promised on the website before the elections.. and
you do not consider signals such as political past of the main players?

you didn't consider that in italy any association can declare itself a
political party and if this association has passive members.. like the
folks wearing pirate gear on http://www.movimentopirata.com/multimedia/
.. that they most probably haven't been assembled to discuss political
participation, especially under the wing of one of italy's most hated men.

just imagine dick cheney would come up with a candidacy under the pirate
signet, don't you think the PPI should say something about it?
