Dear et al,

Your clarification leaves me clouded re: your decision whether to post my on-topic replies concerning prior restraint, censorship of ideas and views, and the tons of slams heaped upon Italian pirates who I felt needed someone to speak up in their defense.

"Prefer leaving on good terms...." does this mean I have been left, and will be left out of discussions. Left behind on shore? ... "so maybe we can leave it at that" does nothing to clarify your decision. I respectfully, sincerely respectfully, expect a straight answer. I really don't think our ships fly a different flag, but maybe they might catch a different wind at times.

But, as mentioned, I will respect your decision, and go to the gallows unassisted by my pegs with my head high, without attacking a fellow.

I remain sincerely yours,

John Dickinson

Hi John,

let me clarify. The mail you sent out was to several recipients:

>From: john dickinson <jrdickinson at yahoo.com>
>To: Simon Frew <simon.frew at pirateparty.org.au>, The Internal Mailing List <ppnews at lists.pp-international.net>, "pp.international.general at lists.pirateweb.net" <pp.international.general at lists.pirateweb.net>

To Simon is fine since you had the discussion with him.
To the pp.international list = doubtful since it's outside the subject topic of "PP IT and its non-democratic organization".
To ppnews list, an internal list for Pirate Times members. Here we discuss articles we wrote, ask for help or give a suggestion on an article = highly irrelevant for this list.

Prefer leaving on good terms so maybe we can just leave it at that.

Kindly,
Josef

I am finding more and more the person with a different point of view, is the one to get censored. Was Simon censored? I was trying to make a point, that this list should refrain from chastising   a particular pirate group to the point of mega repeat, over and over, to the exclusion of much needed real news. Which I am anxious to read and favor.

As long as you stay on the topic of Pirate Times your posts will only be slightly delayed on our internal list from now. All other posts and discussions please bring them to the PPI mail-list.
