LOL. The board of PPDE surely has more important stuff to do then to give
me permission to do writeups for a project we don't even know the form of.

If we were to decide to go your road I could do that (though I have no idea
if that will be successful or not).

I really appreciate your energy and input. But I am not sure that every PP
can, or wants to set this up the way PPAU does. And while it is important
that a project like this does not seem like one PP is trying to put forward
it's views and neglects the ones of the rest, especially keeping in mind
the eurocentrism we have in the PPs already, I doubt this will work without
some kind of project leadership/management/name it as you will.

Maybe we have a bit of a different idea on how this could work:

You seem to think that it should be done by the parties itself, by
officials, with a sort of oversight, but also responsibility to support it,
of the respective party leadership.

I think we gain more if we set up an independent entitiy, a service that,
even though it is reporting on the pirate parties, and depends on them to
give information and technical assistance, is actually independent of the
structure of both PPI and the national parties. I think that is more
flexible, since every party can respons to it as it sees fit, but as long
as there are a few people willing to push it forward as a kind of editorial
board something will happen.
That would not stop PPAU to put forward a person to write those reports
every month or every fortnight. But the other parties could react to it as
they see fit.

kind regards -J
