[pp.int.general] Basic income - how does that fit into the pirate ideology?

It's  a core issue, especially for the countries of southern europe.

I think the minimum basic income is important, especially in industrialized countries where bosses tend to come together on agreements, so that they can bring down salaries and increase margins.

I don't think we should be debating the minimum basic salary, because by definition it's there to defend the lower classes of labour,
 instead we should be introducing a "maximum income", to avoid repeating what we've all witnessed with the banking sector.

Perhaps a "maximum income" along with decision transparency might help reduce the chances of wealth over-accumulation and poverty.

Whats your take on this?
